Heferen Shield

Moree East Public School students proudly represented our school at the Heferen Shield on Friday the 28th July. 21 students competed in the 100m, 200m, 800m and shot putt.

 

We had an outstanding results with 5 of those students qualifying for the North West Regional Athletics Carnival which will be held in Tamworth later this term. Kyleika Haines, Norman Roberts, Nathaniel Sharpley and Marsha Tighe qualified for the regional 100m sprint and Shaquil Smith qualified for the regional shot putt.

 

Congratulations to all students from MEPS who participated with a high level of respect and determination at this year's Heferen Shield.
