Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. The community is involved through our School Reference Group (SRG) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
School Reference Group (SRG)
As a Connected Community School, we have a School Reference Group (SRG), comprised of 15 members from school staff, parents/carers, elders and community organisations. The SRG is guided by a Terms of Reference and consults with the Executive Principal on successful outcomes for Aboriginal Education and advises about the Executive Principal on the positive implementation of the Connected Communities Strategy.
Volunteer at our school
Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- listening to children read in the classroom
- working in our school vegetable garden
- volunteering on sports days and at other school events
